Celebrations dedicated to St Anne are held in the last week of August with a week of cultural events, religious ceremonies, dances, Valencian pelota and open-air celebrations.
Located 80 km from Alicante this is a typical village of the Sierra Serrella. Although it can be reached from Facheca and Castell de Castells, the best road is the one from Gorga.
Tour of the town:
The most impressive excursion is the one leading to the Penya dels Frares in the Sierra Serrella; these are rocky outcrops, which resemble friars marching in a procession. Another excursion leads to the Fuente del Espinal and to the Font Roja. Foradada Cave.
