The main factors involved in choosing somewhere to study Spanish are the setting and the climate. That’s why the Costa Blanca is one of the favourite places for the almost 10,000 foreign students who study Spanish in the province of Alicante every year.

In recent years, the Costa Blanca has seen a significant increase in private educational services for Spanish language teaching. At present there are over 20 schools in every corner of the province, to which we should add the universities where you can study for a degree in the local language thanks to international exchange programmes.

The local food and drink, our fiestas and customs, visits to museums and the excellent climate are some of the factors behind the decisions taken by language tourists.
